About Max

Max fell in love with Kauai in 1997 after visiting his youngest son who had made the island his permanent home. After nearly 15 years of visiting two or three times a year, Max and his wife, Dana, decided to move to Kauai. A practicing Realtor since 1983, and ultimately a broker in three states (Delaware, Maryland, and Hawaii), Max possesses tremendous knowledge and a deep understanding of the transaction process of Real Estate. In 1992, Max served as president of his local real estate association. And in 1993, Max was voted Realtor of the Year by his peers.

When Max began his Real Estate career in the oceanfront vacation communities of Ocean City, Maryland and Bethany Beach, Delaware, he quickly learned that these communities were a mix of properties, such as vacation homes, leisure homes and condominiums rented to the public, as well as primary home owners. Coincidentally, this is very similar to the oceanfront and inland communities of Kauai. Max’s keen real estate skills has enabled him to quickly and effectively learn and adapt to the Kauai market and he is eager to share his expertise with potential home owners to find their perfect island retreat.

Throughout his real estate career Max has always been a very active agent and has volunteered on the Association of Realtors in various committees, such as Ethics, Professional Standards, and Multiple Listing Service. To these skills he now has the resources, standards, and presence of Oceanfront Sotheby’s International Realty behind him. Max will use all of his knowledge, experience, and available tools to help one navigate the many real estate options available to current and potential home owners on the island of Kauai. And through Oceanfront Sotheby’s International Realty, he can place you with a highly qualified realtor within the Sotheby’s network should you need assistance on one of the other islands of Hawaii or the mainland.

Welcome to Kauai and Aloha.
